Our Grove

A small grove
above the green belt.

One hundred and eighty-seven trees, planted in measured rows, looking out over the Riverside green belt. Citrus mostly, with quiet pockets of mango, fig, peach, and pear tucked in where the light is right.

We tend it ourselves. The grove asks for slow attention, and gives back more than it takes. Mornings smell of orange blossom in spring. Late afternoons turn gold against the leaves. We built this place to be unhurried.

There is no admission. We welcome friends and small gatherings by appointment, and pass a basket for donations to keep the trees thriving.
